Welcome to Blood Bike Leinster

Saving lives…

In most situations blood, blood products, human tissue, stem cells, minor organs and human donor milk or other medical items need to be delivered or collected from a hospital or other medical facilities, but more recently Covid 19 serial testing is taking up about 80% of our time This is why we have different types of vehicles depending on the needs of the hospital, we have response motorcycles and estate cars, vans for much larger items and 4 x 4 vehicles for extreme weather conditions.

Our group was established in April 2013 with a team of dedicated local volunteers and commenced live operations in November 2013.

PLS Pharma are proud to support Blood Bike Leinster by supplying Certified GDP training for their riders and drivers in Good Distribution Practice (GDP), to ensure the safe handling and traceability of medicinal products from the Hospitals and other related medical facilities under the EU GDP Guideline 2013/C 343/01 and UN3373 HPRA GDP compliance requirements and promote best practice.
